Is It the Right Time?
- Future pregnancies. A later pregnancy can stretch a repaired abdomen and change the breasts again. Surgeons ask about your family plans for this reason.
- Breastfeeding finished. Breast size and shape continue to change during and after breastfeeding.
- Stable weight. Results are more predictable when weight has settled near your long-term level.
- Recovery support. Lifting young children is restricted after abdominal surgery, so help at home for the first weeks is part of the plan, not an afterthought.
- General health. Anaemia, clotting history, diabetes, smoking and some medications change the risk of combined surgery.

The ASPS notes that a mommy makeover is typically performed as a single-stage procedure. Combining operations means one anaesthetic and one recovery period. A review of combined breast surgery and abdominoplasty explains that, once procedures are combined, the main safety concern shifts from local wound problems to whole-body risks — with prevention of blood clots (venous thromboembolism) a paramount concern — and that the length of surgery must be considered in planning.

Because the combination varies, advertised prices vary widely. In September 2026, common tummy tuck-plus-breast packages advertised by Turkish providers were around €5,000–€6,000; offers priced in pounds sterling covered a broader range of roughly £4,200–£7,800. Larger combinations — for example with a lift and implants plus extensive liposuction — were advertised above €10,000. These are advertised observations, not quotes.

Risks and Safety Considerations
Each component carries its own risks: seroma, wound healing problems and scarring after a tummy tuck; contour irregularities after liposuction; capsular contracture, implant malposition and nipple sensation changes after breast surgery. Combining them adds operating time, which calls for closer attention to whole-body risks such as blood clots.
On whether combining is safer or riskier, evidence is limited. In one single-surgeon series of 726 abdominoplasty patients, of whom 15% also had breast surgery, no difference in adverse events was found between mommy makeovers and abdominoplasty alone after accounting for other factors. Results from one surgeon's practice cannot predict your own risk, which depends on your health and the plan.

Patients commonly plan around 14 days in Turkey after a mommy makeover, including two to three nights in hospital, so that drains can be removed and wounds reviewed before flying. A long flight after combined surgery adds clot risk: walk the aisle, stay hydrated, and follow your surgeon's advice on compression stockings or blood-thinning injections.
