Plastic Surgery in Antalya

Antalya is a resort city on Turkey's Mediterranean coast with its own plastic surgeons, private hospitals and university hospitals. How to compare them, plan a recovery stay and organise checks before you fly home.

On our register, 68 surgeons record Antalya as their main city, and 49 facilities are listed there: private and state hospitals, university hospitals, clinics and dental clinics. Antalya is smaller than Istanbul, so there are fewer providers to compare, but it appeals to patients who want to recover somewhere by the sea.

That appeal is also the thing to plan around. Antalya is a major summer destination, flights and hotels fill early, and the sun, the sea and long beach days are exactly what a surgeon will ask you to avoid while wounds heal. The season, the transfer and the recovery all need planning together with the surgery.

01

Who Operates in Antalya

Three kinds of setting handle plastic surgery in the city:

  • Private hospitals and hospital groups, with inpatient beds and general anaesthesia.
  • University and state hospitals, which concentrate on reconstructive and complex cases and on training; cosmetic work for international patients is arranged there less often.
  • Surgeons' own practices, where you usually have the consultation and the check-ups, while the operation itself takes place in a partner hospital.

Because consultation and operation can be in different parts of the city, get both addresses before you book flights.

02

What Antalya Surgeons List Most Often

Liposuction, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, tummy tuck and eyelid surgery are listed by more Antalya surgeons in our records than other operations. Each link below goes to the Antalya page for that procedure where one exists, and otherwise to the national guide.

How each operation works, and what can go wrong, is covered in its own guide. This page deals with what changes when you have it done in Antalya.

03

Hospitals and Clinics in Antalya

The basic checks are the same as anywhere in Turkey: health tourism authorisation, a place on the HealthTürkiye list, a named anaesthesia team and monitoring overnight. For a city where hotels line the coast, two further questions are worth asking:

  • Will the consultation and the operation happen at the same address, and if not, who drives you between them afterwards?
  • Where will your dressing changes and drain removal take place, and how far is that from your hotel?

Plastic Surgeons in Antalya

Compare all 68 surgeons listed in Antalya →

A search for the "best plastic surgeon in Antalya" cannot tell you who is right for your operation, and neither can an ordered list. UK and Turkish plastic surgery societies advise checking that your surgeon is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, holds Turkish board certification, has been in practice for at least five years, and will give you an aftercare plan. Our guide to choosing a surgeon shows where to run each check.

Prices in Antalya

There is no separate Antalya price list on this site. Providers here price inside the national range for each operation: the cost pages give the dated advertised range we recorded and what packages usually include and leave out. These are advertised figures, not quotes.

What changes a quote within Antalya is partly local:

  • Season. Between June and September hotels and flights cost more and sell out sooner, so price your exact dates.
  • Where you sleep. Resort hotels on the coast can be a long transfer from the hospital; ask for the distance.
  • Airport transfers. The airport is about 10 km from the centre and hospitals are typically a 20–40 minute transfer away; find out how many transfers the price includes, follow-up visits among them.
  • Hospital nights. A longer operation means more nights; ask what an extra one costs.
  • Who is quoting. A hospital group and an independent surgeon price differently, so know which one is behind the number.
06

Three Things to Have Before You Pay

  1. A written plan and quote for the same operation from each provider you are weighing, so the offers can be compared.
  2. The name and specialty of the operating surgeon, the hospital where they will operate, and the facility's entry on the HealthTürkiye certified provider list.
  3. An answer, in writing, to who you contact out of hours and in which language, and who treats you if a problem appears after you fly home.

Look at results in patients similar to you, not the best photographs on a website.

07

Where to Stay in Antalya

The Lara and Konyaaltı coastal areas have most of the resort hotels, while Muratpaşa and the old town of Kaleiçi are closer to the centre. Measure the distance from your hotel to the hospital, not just to the beach: early on you may need to go back for a dressing change, drain removal or a review, and a long transfer is tiring when you are sore and swollen.

08

Airport and Getting Around

  • AYTAntalya Airport

Taxis and prearranged transfers are the simplest way to get around, and the tram covers part of the centre. Many international patient services book private transfers. If you book your own, leave generous time and do not rush for a flight or an appointment in the days after surgery.

09

Summer, Sun and Recovery

Antalya's high season runs through the summer, so book hotel and flights early and ask whether your surgeon can offer dates outside the busiest weeks. Sun exposure, swimming and long beach days are usually restricted while scars heal, and the NHS advises against sunbathing, sightseeing and swimming straight after surgery abroad. Think of the trip as a recovery stay with a view, not a holiday with an operation in the middle. Your surgeon gives the dates when each activity becomes safe.

10

How Long to Stay

Our procedure guides suggest about a week for eyelid and smaller facial operations, five to ten days for rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and liposuction, one to two weeks for a breast lift, reduction or facelift, and ten to fourteen days or more for a tummy tuck or combined surgery. These are planning figures, not clearance to fly: your surgeon decides when you can travel, based on wound healing, swelling, mobility and the risk of blood clots on a long flight.

11

Before You Fly Home

Leave Antalya only after your surgeon or their team has reviewed you, and take with you:

  • your operation notes and discharge summary, in English where possible
  • the make and details of any implant or device
  • written instructions for dressings, garments, stitches and medication
  • the date and method of your next review, whether video call, photographs or a visit
  • the name of someone to contact about problems once you are back, and advice on when to seek urgent care locally

For visitors: 112 is Turkey's national emergency number. Save your hospital's 24-hour number and your surgeon's or coordinator's mobile number before surgery.

12

Ask Antalya Providers for Options

Tell us which procedure you are considering and when you can travel, and we will come back with options from Antalya providers to compare. A request is not a booking, and a treatment plan is only confirmed after examination.

Why Türkiye

What Türkiye offers, and how to check it

A national authorisation scheme, specialist surgeons and prices set beside those of the countries patients travel from — each with a source you can check.

  • A national authorisation scheme

Hospitals and clinics treating international patients must hold a Ministry of Health health-tourism authorisation and, under the 2025 regulation, must also carry complication insurance for operating-room procedures.

    How providers are checked
  • 1,934 plastic surgery specialists

Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery is its own specialty in Türkiye, and every profile states the surgeon's title, what we checked and, where we hold it, where they practise.

    Meet the surgeons
  • Prices you can compare in the open

Türkiye set against the NHS and American Society of Plastic Surgeons figures for the same operation — nothing converted between currencies, every figure dated.

    Compare the figures
  • 845 hospitals and clinics, 70 cities

1,948 surgeons and 40 procedures listed, from Istanbul and Ankara to İzmir and Antalya — and a patient team to help you shortlist.
