Published data report a low overall complication rate for liposuction, with a 2024 meta-analysis of more than 29,000 patients finding about 2.6%, contour irregularities being the most common problem. Risk rises with large volumes, long operations and several combined procedures, which is why the session limit matters more than the price.

Confirm that the facility treating you is on the HealthTürkiye certified provider list and ask who gives the anaesthesia and who watches you overnight. The Antalya Provincial Health Directorate oversees health facilities in the province.

Patients commonly plan around 5 to 7 days after liposuction of one or two areas, and longer after large-volume or combined surgery. Expect soreness, bruising, swelling and some fluid leaking from small incisions, so bring absorbent pads. You will be asked to wear a compression garment day and night and to walk gently from the first day; in Antalya's summer temperatures a tight garment can be uncomfortable, so choose an air-conditioned room close to the clinic and pack a spare garment. Beach days, swimming and sun exposure are not part of the first weeks, and the NHS advises against lying in the sun or going in the water after surgery abroad.

Compare quotes in Antalya by the number of named areas, the technique, how many nights are included, whether the garments and follow-up checks are inside the price, and how much the season adds to hotels and flights between June and September.

Get in writing each area to be treated, the technique, the surgeon's name, the facility's address, the expected stay, what follows afterwards in the price and what happens if a touch-up is needed.

The NHS recommends not flying for 5 to 7 days after procedures such as breast surgery and liposuction. Long flights raise the risk of blood clots after surgery, so wear your garment as advised, walk regularly, drink water and follow any clot-prevention instructions your surgeon gives.
