Follow-up intervals

Who this case belongs to

Each case appears on the pages of the procedure, surgeon and facility named here.

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain or composite bonded to the front of teeth to change their shape, colour or spacing. A photograph shows the surface that is visible, but not how much of the natural tooth was prepared beneath it.

Questions to ask before relying on a result like this

Ask whether the veneers are porcelain or composite, and how much of each tooth was reduced, because removing enamel is not reversible. Ask who prepared the teeth and who made the veneers, and whether you can see a trial version first.

Ask how long they are expected to last, what the warranty covers and what care they need, including night-time guards if you grind your teeth. Ask for the plan, the price per tooth and the aftercare arrangement in writing.

Results vary between patients. Images should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a similar outcome.

One case is not a forecast

One person's result reflects their anatomy, their healing and the technique chosen for them. It is not evidence of what your own result would be — only an in-person assessment can tell you that.
