Follow-up intervals
Each case appears on the pages of the procedure, surgeon and facility named here.
An arm lift, or brachioplasty, removes loose skin and some fat from the upper arm and tightens the area. A photograph shows the new shape, but the scar, the amount of skin removed and the patient's weight history are harder to see.
Ask where the scar will lie and how long it will be, and what it looked like in other patients a year later. Ask whether liposuction was combined with the lift, and who performed the surgery.
Ask about numbness, how long you will need help with daily tasks and when you can lift again. Ask for the plan, the price and the follow-up arrangement in writing.
Results vary between patients. Images should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a similar outcome.
