Follow-up intervals
Each case appears on the pages of the procedure, surgeon and facility named here.
Rhinoplasty changes the shape of the nose — the bridge, the tip, the width or the angle — and, when the septum or nasal valves are included, how well air passes through it. A single pair of photographs can show some of that change, but not all of it: the swelling that remains, the skin type and the surgeon's plan all sit outside the frame.
Ask which surgeon operated and whether the nose in the photograph was a primary or a revision operation. Ask whether the surgery was open or closed, whether cartilage grafts were used and where they came from, and whether the septum or the breathing was part of the plan.
Ask what your own skin thickness and nasal structure allow, because a result that suits one nose may not suit another. Ask for the plan, the price, the length of stay and the follow-up arrangement in writing, and what happens if you need a second operation.
Results vary between patients. Images should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a similar outcome.
