Each case appears on the pages of the procedure, surgeon and facility named here.
Rhinoplasty changes the shape of the nose — the bridge, the tip, the width or the angle — and, when the septum or nasal valves are included, how well air passes through it. A single pair of photographs can show some of that change, but not all of it: the swelling that remains, the skin type and the surgeon's plan all sit outside the frame.
The first days bring swelling, bruising around the eyes and a blocked nose. The external splint usually comes off after about a week. The visible swelling settles over the following weeks, and the shape of the bridge becomes clearer between two and six months.
The tip is the slowest part: swelling there can continue to resolve for 12 to 18 months, especially with thick skin. This is why the follow-up interval beside a photograph matters, and why a revision is not usually considered before that point.
Results vary between patients. Images should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a similar outcome.
