Each case appears on the pages of the procedure, surgeon and facility named here.
A Hollywood smile is a cosmetic makeover of the front teeth, usually with porcelain veneers or crowns and often with whitening. A photograph shows the colour and shape of the finished teeth, but not how much of the natural tooth was reshaped to make room for them.
Look at the line of the smile against the lower lip, and at how many teeth show when the person smiles. Check that the teeth look like they belong to the face: their length and their width should suit the lips and the jaw, rather than looking uniform and oversized.
Compare the colour from tooth to tooth and with the gums, and look at the edges, where natural teeth are slightly uneven and translucent. Lighting and the editing of colour change teeth in photographs more than almost any other feature.
Results vary between patients. Images should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a similar outcome.
