A brow lift raises the position of the eyebrows and smooths the forehead. A photograph shows the eyebrow position, but not the technique used, where the incisions lie or how much of the look came from the eyelids rather than the brow.

Questions to ask before relying on a result like this

Ask which technique was used — endoscopic or open — and where the incisions and scars lie, and who performed it. Ask whether the eyelids were treated at the same time, since a heavy upper lid can be caused by the brow, the lid or both.

Ask about numbness, hair loss near the scar and how the surgeon keeps both brows level. Ask for the plan, the price and the aftercare arrangement in writing.
