Follow-up intervals
Each case appears on the pages of the procedure, surgeon and facility named here.
A brow lift raises the position of the eyebrows and smooths the forehead. A photograph shows the eyebrow position, but not the technique used, where the incisions lie or how much of the look came from the eyelids rather than the brow.
Swelling and bruising over the forehead and sometimes around the eyes are common in the first one to two weeks, and the forehead and scalp may feel numb or tight. Incisions are placed within the hair or at the hairline.
The brows can sit higher in the early weeks and settle slightly as swelling goes down. The result is judged after the swelling has gone, which can take some months.
Results vary between patients. Images should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a similar outcome.
